4/5C is an enrichment class consisting of 31 students. During Term One we have been getting to know one another and we have been learning how to work in groups. Literacy groups have been fun and we have worked in Literature circles, transmediation centres, project centres and research centres. Writing is a very important part of our daily schedule and we have been working on narratives. In Mathematics we have worked on area, perimeter, triangles, Roman numerals, multiplication, equivalent fractions, length and times tables. In COGS we have been studying Living Land – a unit about the environment. Next term we will be entering Murder Under the Microscope and we are looking forward to it.
